This morning I actually saw Scarlet and Summer tanagers. They're very shy birds so the pic quality didn't come out as good as I would have liked but I'll post them later anyway. I also have a nice shot of a Rose Breasted Grosbeak. Great day for bird watching.

Cool. I have gotten one Gros in my yard. Obviously migration, as he did not stay and never came back.

We had a Rose-breasted Grosbeak on our feeder the afternoon. Great looking bird, we only see one or two in a year.

A few pictures. The first two are from around 5 days ago in our woods and the swamp behind. The other two are St. George Island 2 weeks ago. We got lucky and found a Great Horned Owl nest in an abandoned Osprey nest.

I'm planning to try some fairly serious bird photography later this week.

Had a rose breasted grosbeak last year come to our feeder last year. Haven't seen any unusual birds yet this year
