Some of her gen-ed classes would probably be very liberal, but for that particular major, I would not foresee the upper-level classes being anything but science-based, with little political indoctrination. I could be wrong, of course, but I would be very surprised to see it.

Aside from the fact that you would let this stand in the way of your daughter receiving an elite education, science and engineering professors don't care. Many of them weren't even born in the U.S.

LOL. She will still be surround by progressive kids from the East Coast and she will have to take general education courses in the liberal arts and her professors in the sciences are still more likely going to be progressive.

If it's about the money any major from an Ivy League school puts her at an advantage. Who cares if she becomes progressive. She will still have a better chance of making going coin.
