Yes, but that would be great if he wants her to take over a family business and he's sending her off to college to get a well-rounded education, find herself, and come back with more maturity and better critical thinking skills. If she's trying to have a career of her own (and not going to law school), she needs to stay away from those degrees and get something that will offer a solid return on investment. If you're not just going to college for the experience (not that there's anything wrong with this as long as one can afford it), college is an investment and must be viewed and treated as such.
