Right, but why will this send more newly drafted players to the d league like the OP is suggesting.

I think he's confused and thinks that they can go straight to the D League out of high school or 1 year of college, they just cant play for the major teams in the NBA?

I need him to clarify his theory.

One thing he said is definitely right, though, any decision will be a "money profit" for the NBA. They dont make decisions for any reasons other than cash.

I thought I heard on the radio that it was a possibility that players could leave college after 1 year for the D-league and stay there 1 year? Maybe I'm wrong on that.
