i totally agree. Jefferson and Lee were thrown out to the wolves when Perrilloux was kicked off the team....those guys never fully developed.
The "A" Train Anthony Thomas was a bad boy too tho. How in the heck did LSU let him get out the state?

LSU was loaded with future pro rbs. The best thing that Anthony could have done was get out of state to get away from all negative local influences. Plus he was absolutely born to play in the Big Ten as a monster back with speed.

Kevin Faulk, Rondell Mealey, and Cecil Collins were already on the team, and LSU signed Tommy Banks the same recruiting class that he was in. I didn't keep up with recruiting then, but I have family from Winnfield and they said LSU never really recruited him. I would say that was mistake on their part, but Lebrandon Toefield and Dominick Davis were not far behind that class too. Unbelievably unreal talent at RB in Louisiana back then.
