Last year's Finals took so much out of me. Cheering that hard against the Heat, becoming so invested in the Spurs, just to watch it end like that.

To be honest, I lost a lot of interest in the NBA, and I think that was the cause. I hardly watched any regular season ball compared to my normal amount. Really got into college.

Sounds like we have a lot in common, I couldnt believe I was pulling for the Spurs that hard, but I despise the Heat for what they stand for. I don't hate the players as much as just the way they came about, and the awful bandwagon fanbase.

I had one hell of a time watching your Huskies make me look pretty damn smart, and a lot of money at that. Had em in my Final Four, losing to UF, but had placed futures odds on them winning the region and the title that paid some serious dividends.

All of this. I like LeBron. Like, dude is great for the game, has never gotten in any trouble whatsoever, and just seems like a legit nice dude. All while being the second-best player ever.

I despite his fans, as a whole. Not necessarily all of them individually, of course.

Wade is a nice guy, but I don't like him still because he is a punk bitch. Don't mind Bosh. Hate Haslem. Hate Chalmers. I didn't hate Mike Miller, but I hated the act of Mike Miller hitting a thousand threes in the Finals on one leg.

I hate the way the Heat came together, as you said.

Game 1 thoughts:

East:

Charlotte probably will not even win one unless Al Jeff can stay healthy and dominate.

I think the Hawks win, and I said this before the series started. Teague continues to go off. Too bad Horford still has a torn titty.

I assume the Nets look good. Did not see any of the game.

Chicago crowd was pathetic. I hope the wiz win. John Wall plays at a faster level than anyone else.
Ariza is pretty good now. Nene is still one of the largest humans ever to play pro sports. I love the Polish Hammer.

Wiz-Hawks to play Miami-Nets.

West:

Missed this one. Assume Pop will guide them to victory.

Thunder looked on a whole other level than Memphis. Durant and Westbrook are so raw.

Awesome series in Cali. I am hoping for a couple fights as well as great ball.

Another tight matchup between Houston and Portland. So many storylines in this one just like Clips Warriors.

Spurs vs ??? And OKC vs ???

West basketball is always king.

I know he keeps saying he's not coming back this season, but would he really not return for the ECF (a massive long shot, for sure)?

Meh, the Grizzlies had one of the worst shooting first halves in recent NBA history. Didn't make a single jumper until the final minute of the 2nd quarter.

They got blown out much worse by the Clippers in game 1 last year and won that series.
