My thought is you apply your biases to the world around you. And color them to your advantage.
One problem. My biases are based on the truth. Therefore, to show that I am unbiased I would have to embrace falsehoods.
Re: my OP... As I thought about IRL discussions/arguments with women I really need to expand their responses. It's not only "I don't want to talk about it." It's also:
"Why are you that way?" and
"You just don't care about the needy."
Women also argue in a circular pattern. It goes like this:
Her: "A" is true.
Me: No "A" is false due to reasons B and C.
Her: "C" is not true because of D.
Me: No.."D" does not undercut C because of E and F.
Her: "A" is true.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Moving away from IRL I've been observing politics very closely for over 50 years. There is a clear pattern that the left declares victory and calls for the end of all discussion MUCH more often than the right.
So, the question is why? My thought is that is fits the female argumentation style. And in a bifurcation the left trends female and the right trends male.
