You took it too literally. It's how the 8 hole is viewed in the lineup-has nothing to do with what school, team, or anything else.

Who gives a shite how it's viewed by the fans. When you're playing, you understand what's going on. Trust me, it would not be an insult to him.

Things Bregman needs to do.

There are SIX players on our team with more runs scored than Bregman. That's ridiculous.

Stevenson circa 2013 says hi

Why do people bring this up. This year he is our best hitter very true. But to say last year a guy hitting his average should have started on LSU'S baseball team shows how low yalls standards have dropped. During the 90's and early 2000's would LSU ever have a guy batting sub .200 starting or even on the team?? Don't make excuses just answer that question don't make fun of my spelling or grammar just answer the question.

Stevenson defense was elite and an asset last year.

LSU hit 188 HR's in 97 and they've hit 19 this year. Stop comparing 2014 to the 90's or 2000's.

Average is average and there are 100s of guys out there that could play defense just as good as him. This year I agree he's a hell of a player.

PS Hi Harry

Right, coaches usually put terrible hitters in the 8-hole, that's why they're in the lineup

why didn't he make any adjustment all series long.

they continued to throw almost nothing but breaking balls.. especially early in the count for strikes. just time it up and be aggressive.. he use to always be aggressive. he took too many strikes. they clearly weren't giving him anything else to hit?

Hopefully Bregs can consult with a bona fide hitting coach this summer to get straightened out. Javi is just not cutting it.
