re: Any guys plant summer deer plots? And/or mineral sites

I am going to plant some with peas, sunflowers, soybeans and clover. I have reading up on this recently and you really need to enclose the plot to give it a head start or it will be a futile attempt. I read where one guy used t posts and 30# mono. He put about 3-4 strands around the plot and it keeps them out.
