Living outside of the conference region, I was looking for reliable ways to follow LSU this upcoming season without forking over the money for cable packages. I currently have access to ESPN3, but what else is recommended to catch most of the games?
If you get rid of cable TV and just keep internet, you will still be able to access ESPN3. I have my internet through cox and TV through DirecTV.
And for games on CBS, like other have mentioned, you can watch free online streaming on your phone (CBS App) or PC (CBS Website).

ESPN3 is tied to your internet provider. WatchESPN is tied to your TV provider. I have AT&T for internet and DirecTV for television. If a game is on one of the ESPN channels, it is classified as a WatchESPN game. If you have DirecTV as you provider you cannot watch WatchESPN games on ESPN3.
I know that doesn't make much sense, but that's the way it is.
