Of course not, but their going rate for lets say a "black keys production" goes for around a million and then gets divided up to all those involved from the ground up

Well, certain bands or artists do have deals outside of their music label's arduous "360 music deals" where they play a onetime show for a lump sum. The musician (typically, it's a solo performance) nets all of the proceeds.

i always try to calculate how much a band nets when they do a show.
Also, with smaller places some bands can get a cut of the bar. I have a friend that is a white rapper and in his heydey, he would get 2-3% of the bar there was no cover. He said he made more money that way than doing cover charges.

Over 90 percent of these guys income(besides Calvin and Guetta) comes from DJing. I think Forbes underestimated on some of them. Wait until you see next years amounts
