If not try Perdido Beach Resort. It's one of the few places down there that you don't have to rent for atleast 3 days.

I'm going to get a room. It's 6 people so it shouldn't be an issue.
Only reason we slept in the parking lot after 8.24.12 was because it was a last-minute trip and everything was sold out. I also slept in my car after 7.2.10 in Charlotte when I was still in college and broke. Wal Mart can be very accommodating
