Yeah I think Heysel should've got mentioned. Fair or not it is something that led to the quick judgement of the Liverpool fans. I've seen something on youtube by the BBC that talked about that day but I think it's something worth exploring again.

Yeah that was pretty much the fuel for the fire. They don't talk about it, but Heysel was a primary motivating factor for their jump to conclusions at Hillsborough. That and the city of Liverpool was a bastion of the labor party and the conservatives would stop at nothing to paint that area in a bad light.
