i wish xbox video would allow you to watch single episodes of GoT season 4, its the only reason i frick with HBO these days.
i dont mind buying the season pass, i dont know whats up with it. every other show they allow you to do that with.

Well HBO hates pirating...that's different than sharing an account.

HBO makes its money on the subscribers, but they know that eventually it will be more from a PPV/internet subscriber service, but for now, as long as they can continue to charge your cable/satellite the premium price to carry the channel, they aren't going to eat into that price by allowing people to pay less just to sign up for hbogo.

You're missing my point. Discussion about pirating -> asked about hbogo login sharing -> said he's focused on cutting it down

Would the people that have HBO plus cable all suddenly drop it and just use the streaming service?
I doubt that. Many subscribers will keep it because they like cable and HBO. But a huge portion who don't want cable but want HBO will spring for the 8-16$ a month range for a streaming service, most of them who are borrowing codes or pirating shows now because they can't get it streaming.

Also, I use my aunts hbogo and I'd let you use it if I weren't a dick. But I am, so you can't.

As long as you don't try to stream GoT in the first two hours of a premier, you won't have issues.

Eatel doesn't have HBOgo so that's why I don't have it.... But would be willing to share cost via PayPal if anyone wanted to discuss....

well since that's generally when I want to stream it...
usually its not an issue but I use HBOGo via Roku in my bedroom instead of paying for a second cable box.

If you have your internet with Comcast, they can get HBOGO without cable. About the only good thing if you actually have to deal with Comcast internet.
Comcast is the only one I know of to make this arrangement with Time Warner. I asked my provider if they could look into doing that and they said no.
