Uh the Avengers did a pretty good job showing a team using everyone's powers/skills effectively.

Hawkeye was necessary to call the shots, Widow was necessary to kill and keep the fight focused.

I mean it wasn't perfect, but it was certainly enough of a reason.

Honestly I didn't care for Hawkeye and Black Widow next to the more powerful characters like the Hulk, Iron Man and Thor either.

I'm plus minus on even Captain America in the same movie as characters with more unrealistic super powers.

I think having BW shooting the aliens with handguns, and Hawkeye shooting them with arrows basically neutered the aliens. The aliens were supposed to be some cosmic force, yet handguns and arrows could take them out? That didn't really work for me.

Don't get me wrong, I still liked the movie a lot. I just thought that aspect of it was goofy
