Rebounding is not his strong suit. He still impacts the game positively for the Pacers with his size.

He'll still give the Heat fits in the playoffs.
Won't make it there unless Hibbert and Paul George snap out of their funks.

Overrated in that he's not as good as those one or two series in the playoffs would suggest. But because of the lack of overall talent at the center position in the game, he's still an important player to have.

He's overrated if we are looking at the max contract guys, but he's still a top C in the league.
It speaks more about the lack of quality Cs today but it is what it is.

I agree. I like him as a defender and a big body down low. People want him to dominate the boards but he doesn't have the athleticism like a Dwight Howard or a Demarcus Cousins.
For the guy who said he's over rated vs Miami, I can somewhat agree. I was debating rather it's him having bad matchups or just him being hungry and wanting to complete the mission of knocking the Heat off in the playoffs.
Someone said he doesn't have to shoulder the load because everyone else chips in. Very good point. I do think without Hibbert though they wouldn't be one of the best in the league.

Overrated as a basketball player.
Underrated as an actor.

Over rated? Yes
Doesn't mean he's a bad player, but he shouldn't be an All Star

. But with how he's playing now, would you call him overrated or would you just say he's in a slump?
He is overrated now but just wait until they play The Heat

Hibbert is soft as hell. See his performance for Georgetown in the NCAA tournament

Does he have good acting skills?

I didn't think it was possible for a 17th pick to be overrated......
The kid was drafted as a project. Basically because of his height. In college he was out of shape, could hardly get up and down the floor to play both ends of the court, and it looked like he would be nothing but a paint filler in the NBA.
He's worked extremely hard the last few years to stay in shape, develop his footwork, play with toughness, and build an offensive game.
And I'd say considering where he was drafted compared to his rank at his position. It was a project that absolutely paid off. Is he a dominant center from the past? No, never will be. But he's a solid team player who can go out and get you 15, 10, and 3 on a good night, which very very few 7footers in the league can do (outside of Noah, Cousins, Marc Gasol, and Howard)
But I'm sure I'm dead wrong according to the MSB's massive Heat bandwagon club.

What spot was Udonis Haslem drafted again?

Udonis has a pretty good history of shutting him down

cool? how is that related to my post? besides you being a Heat fan like I described above.

I guess it depends on how you measure his value. His contract is the right price for what big men go for.
Is he the best center in the league? No.

Can he just be playing poorly right now without being overrated for the talent he still possesses and has produced in the past?
he was way fricking overrated coming into this season due to one fluke playoff series that was high profile
