Would we be any better than 9-4 with a different lead off hitter? Probably not. We're only 13 games in and you've started how many threads on Heyward? It's gonna be a long year for you

There's your answer. Being 9-4 right now is too small a sample to say we're postseason bound. I'm simply saying based on projections that Heyward would create a lot more value from the 2 spot.

1.

This thread is more about not having a leadoff than it is about Heyward. Heyward can leadoff, but I feel it's cheating him of his possible value. He could become an incredible value batting from the 2 hole with a competent leadoff hitter.

Some of you guys have the emotional stability of a woman. Instead of looking at it logically and seeing that I'm not actually bashing Heyward, you automatically scream in your head, "frick HIM HE DIDNT SAY BARVES and HEWYARD BEST EVARRR#11111, SO frick HIM!"

Just like in my other thread about extending him. I didn't say he wasn't worth extending. I said he probably isn't worth extending at the money he wants. Huge difference. But let the estrogen flow through you anyway.
