Yes, absolutely.
Heyward is a good leadoff, but his power is also very wasted there. I remember one year Alfonso Soriano hit over 45 homers at the leadoff spot and still didn't get 100 RBI's. What an absolute waste of production.
I think Simmons has a really good chance to be that guy, especially with how he's looking so far. I also think the braves should make some small moves before the deadline.

I highly doubt it. Simmons just doesn't have the patience as a hitter and has a pop up rate that is way too high to be an effective leadoff. Not to mention, his best BA comes from when he's batting down in the order instead of at the top.

I think if we can find a average to solid leadoff hitter, it would make our offense a lot better. I would like to get the Astros on the phone and see what they'd sell Altuve for.
