The thing that most amazes me about AGW is that we are even here to cause it.
I mean;
After ALAR on apples killed us all
After Silicon Breast Implants killed all our women
After no one had health insurance , or it was worthless policies, until this year
How in the hell are we STILL causing such harm?
ETA: yes...reductio ad absurdum...but, it is tongue in cheek.

And don't forget all those holes punched in the atmosphere by rotating helicopter blades, opening portals of death from unfiltered sunlight.

I think there's a part of he human brain that craves impending disaster. I'd reckon it's evolutionary. If you felt impending doom, you, prepared, you survived. Now we have a strong propensity to live in constant fear of our impending (self-caused) doom
I for one am still fearful of Y2K!!!

Putting flouride in drinking water back in 1950 was also supposed to kill us all. Didn't happen. Helped to prevent tooth decay.
