I worked as a supervisor for about a year at a relatively popular bowling alley, and these guys (very few ladies) take things very seriously, but part of the difference is that they have a lot more money involved. I played in some rec leagues and enjoyed it but the season would drag on to long and I never liked playing that much. The thing I did like was that I could drink with my friends without too many idiots that you get around you during open bowl.

Because of the area of this bowling area we were busy a lot too. We would get a 1-2 Hour waiting list in the winter. Those were some crazy weekend nights.
