I don't really care. I ain't sticking my dog unrestrained in my truck bed on i10, I would hope most would do the same.

This. My dog loves to ride in the bed of my truck but I always have her in with a short leash and the brace that goes around her chest. However that is just when we are going somewheres quick, if we're on the interstate- she's in a crate.
