How about readers just stay the frick out of our thread, and we all get along.

Simple as that.

Don't. fricking. Post. In. The. Hodor. Thread.

Yes, this attitude definitely is how we all get a long

And I don't think I've ever posted in the Hodor thread
Eta: oh I did ask why it was only 2 pages yesterday

This is what I do. I don't even read the HODOR threads that much and I NEVER post in them since the antagonism started a year or two ago.

I just dont understand why someone always has to post in it. There really isnt a need for it. You sir are a good man.

I think if I were a reader Id read the thread just to see what people think about it and what people think is gonna happen but never post. Honestly I dont post in many thread anyway. last nights I posted a decent amount in but honestly I stay away from the thread reading or posting most of the time just because most of it is bull shite about readers vs non reader and its dumb

I read the thread because it is hilarious and some of the predictions make me chuckle.

Right.

Some of the Hodors are way too sensitive.

I should have phrased the question better. Why are readers posting in the non-reader thread. Absolutely nothing wrong with lurking in there.

Yes but freaking out about it helps nothing and blows shite out of proportion

Read all you want. Just don't post. It's not hard.

Don't post. We don't want you to post. We are asking, nicely. For the umpteeth time.

Don't post in the HODOR thread if you read the books.

Thanks.

Would you respond better to a kind request to not post in the non-reader thread?

I see two sides of this.

One, people don't want to be spoiled. I get that.

Two, this is a fourteen year old story. It would be like Hollywood re-making Sixth Sense, and people getting up in arms about being spoiled.

I just stay out of it, though.

I think the only time I posted was to say how jealous I was that they didn't know the story already. People spoiling stuff ruins the fun of reading freak out posts.

The reason they are freaking out is because it just so dumb and shouldnt even be an issue but it always is. They have a right to be pissed.

The reason people are sensitive is because they dont want to know anything. It should be so simple but for some reason it is impossible

Absolutely irrelevant when the readers have their own thread.

Terrible analogy.

This. I've realized that you can't even discuss any book characters with Hodors because just knowing that a character is still alive in book 5 is a spoiler.

Readers need to accept that EVERYTHING is a spoiler since anyone can die at anytime.

In a different medium. That makes all the difference. I love reading, but I'm not reading all these books right now, probably in the future. I want to watch the show and not be spoiled.

It's not that much to ask. I understand some have the best interest in mind, but we are asking nicely, just stay out. Anyone that read any book, stay out.

They have their own thread, they don't need to come into our thread and give us knowledge and play and omniscient god that knows all and is helping us understand.

Thanks, please stay out. Thank you.

It's the fact that Hodors seem to think all readers want to do is spoil the show for them, and the fact that readers think every body who makes a semi right prediction is a reader in disguise. And then it takes over the discussion in the threads, it's annoying

Exactly. The things could be so innocent but bad could come of it.

for example in season 1 book reader saying oh wait bc Arya (just randomly choosen bc she is my favorite) has big things coming. well that makes us know she is okay and will eventually pull something off

Let's ask Chicken to create a Hodor board and leave this as the reader board. All other tv/movie threads can go on the OT
