Not a whole lot of information on true freshman QBs but it seems the general conclusion of that article is that QBs that young are going to show what they are right out of the gate. Not to say that their best year is their first year but if they do good the first year they mostly continue that trend. If they perform poorly there is not some big jump the next year and so on.

Harris is a MUCH more fluid runner, MUCH smarter, has an elite arm, and by all accounts is a solid character kid. Judging by evaluations and what i saw in his handling of his and Kyle Allens recruitment.
