I understand that. FWIW, I agree to a point. But it's pretty coincidental that this was pushed forth in response to the SG effort. IMO, if you are going to do that, then the time table for any existing petition drives should start the day that legislation is introduced.

Has this been passed through completely yet?

No, it just passed through committee. Still has full senate vote and full house vote.
