Sadly I haven't been able to watch but by looking at the box he's doing really well:

18 points 8 rebounds 5 assists

20 points 10 rebounds 6 assists

He even had a near triple double a few games ago

He's averaged 42.5 minutes as a starter, prorating pts/ast/reb down to 36 minutes vs his season Per 36.

Starter 16/4.7/7.6
Season 14.2/4.2/3.5

Rebounds are way up, but other than rebounds, his per 36 numbers aren't really different as a starter considering the scoring options the team was missing. That's not saying he performed poorly, just that he performed as expected. He can penetrate, he can protect the ball, and he can stay in front of his man way better than Roberts.

I don't remember if it was the Houston or OKC game, but I thought he had plenty of openings for 3s that he didn't take. I certainly don't want him forcing shots he's not comfortable with or breaking the offense with Hero Ball, but I just remember several times when he was waiting for picks to be set thinking he was open enough if he would just pull up and shoot the 3. I guess his defender was backing off him trying to get ready for the pick so he could stay with Rivers through it, and with his penetrating ability it makes sense that they would do that. If he would start pulling up and knocking down 3s in those situations...
