Getting the 2 seed may be a blessing in disguise, especially for Miami.

Yeah, because if Chicago is the 3, they can't beat Miami.

If Miami is the 1 and Brooklyn advance to the 2nd round as the 5 seed, then the Nets have a pretty good chance to make it a long series and a small to decent chance of beating the Heat. Bulls have a slim to none chance of beating the Heat.

If Pero can stay healthy, the Hawks could easily get past the Pacers if they stay a head case. Some forget that we were rolling in the 3 seed even without Horford until Pero got hurt around the all star break. Miami can frick off though. I can barely count on one hand the amount of h2h wins we've been royally skullfricked out of by the refs the past two years. We always play them well and would probably take two, but come up short as usual.

The 1 seed is going to have an exponentially tougher road than the 2. Compare the Bobcats and Hawks schedules down the road. With Teague and Lou both at the high points of their season, there is no comparison between the two. The 2nd round is just as obvious.
