Samsung has a 70" LED tv with basically no perks for $999 (if you can find the sales). To me, smart TV apps are worthless. I stream Netflix/Amazon/hulu through my PS4 or Wii U and get on demand movies through DirecTV. I got rid of my Vizio smart TV for this one, best decision I ever made.

I have a roku I never use, you're right about directv so what is benefit of smart TV?
