re: How did you propose?

Mine was kind of corny, but I paid for the ring, then a few days later asked my wife to go to that particular jewelry store to help me find a pair of earrings for my mom for Mother's Day. I just picked this random pair and asked the girl (who was in on it of course) to go get me a pair to let me see them up close, then she brought the ring and I dropped down to one knee.

It worked out good for me because it was like a committing a crime in front of the police station kind of thing. She knew I was gonna pop the question any day, and ironically her guard was down as we went into the jewelry store.
