He dies in such a cowardly, pathetic way too. Is he going to claw at his throat as well in the show?? 
I think the episode is going to end with Joffrey choking to death and Cersei arresting Tyrion. Episode 3 will open with the chaos after the wedding and Sansa's escape and Dontos being killed by Littlefinger.

Cowardly death for him and Tywin dies on the toilet. For all the power the lanisters have George makes sure they die embarrassing deaths. I like it

Sounds good . I'll definitely go to the store and pick up some Dornish Red to drink in celebration of Joffrey's big day.

I saw the episode a couple of weeks ago and the bottom left of the screen read "Incomplete FX" so I assume they will add the throat clawing to the final production. It was not in the version I watched, he merely suffocates in Cersei's arms.

I loved it, and maybe because of the hiatus that has felt like eternity, and watching those 1st 2 episodes back to back, it was a solid 8 for me.
