Sure would have been a nice gesture to see the leader of the biggest brightest athletic program on campus give back to the smallest dullest athletic program on campus. We are only as strong as our weakest link.

So he should have forced his daughter to go to a subpar program and a less prestigious school, that she didn't want to attend, in order to justify some sick "spreading the wealth" ideal?

Maybe, but it also could have been seen by the other members of that team as her getting special benefits because of who her daddy is, giving them a reason to ostracize her.

Cant' fault her for wanting to get away from the family and learn something about herself. I also can't fault Les for letting her. He even made a joke about how if she stayed at LSU, he would "be able to eat lunch with her every day", meaning he understood her need to learn to stand on her own.

Sometimes, it's not all about LSU.
