Herron did a piece for USA Today about his journey to the draft and his NOLA visit.
The visit to New Orleans was cool. I didn't really get to go around the city, but just the vibe while I was there was good. I got a tour of the facility. I met with the receiver coach – I previously met with him, too – and some other coaches. They just want you to know about the program a little bit – but not too much, because you never know what might happen in the draft.
Being teammates with Drew Brees is something that I would be very happy with. To be a rookie and have a quarterback like that – it'd be crazy. When you take a visit, you always think about how you would look in that jersey and a certain number. But I try not to do that too much. A team that you never talked to might pick you up. I try not to get too amped up about it.
Walter lists him as their #21 WR- right after Cody Latimer-
Height: 5-9. Weight: 193.
40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2014): 4-6.
3/29/14: Herron isn't the biggest of receivers, yet he had a solid career for Wyoming. Herron's best season came as a senior with 72 receptions for 937 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2012, he had 31 catches for 657 yards and eight scores. Herron helped himself at the Senior Bowl and ran a fast 40 at the Combine.
---Hold on to your hats brosefs. BPA means ya might get a 1st/2nd Rd WR Combo of Marqise Lee and Benjamin. Don't be surprised tho. The combo might end up like a 4th/5th Rd Cody Latimer & Robert Herron just as easily.

Funny how 193lbs for a WR is diminutive now

would be an interesting study to chart the growth of NFL players. If guessing I might say guards. Back in the day they were usually in the 240-260 lb range. Checked the '67 Packers: 6-3 255 & 6-3 245. They're all at least 50 lbs heavier now.
