Every time I have had a contractor out here, they have always hooked it up and said something terminal needed to be replaced. Warranty Co paid, and it got replaced.

If they are replacing something, you can also pay extra to get higher quality stuff

I have AHS and my AC broke down last year. I have a 5 ton unit. The condenser and another major part were beyond repair. They would have replaced these parts, but I opted to replace everything and my out of pocket was about $2500.00 for a new 5 ton Amana.

So it saved me quite a bit.

They have also replaced my garbage disposal, washing machine, breaker box, etc..

It you want to upgrade the item like I did on the washing machine, then they will mail you a check for the amount they will cover.

I know there are horror stories out there about home warranty companies and maybe one day I will have one, but so far they have done as promised.
