Cummings has a good point here... Release all the documents

As did Issa. Interviews and investigation isn't done. Doing so, gives those still to be questioned a leg up on how to avoid or hide answers or information, if they know what's to be asked.

What do the transcripts have to do with Lerner taking the 5th?

Nothing. Just another way to deflect off the actual issue.

Democrats are asking for the release of the full body of transcripts, instead of Issa's cherry-picked transcripts taken out of context.

Why would anybody object?

What's that got to do with Lerner waiving her rights, which is what this is about?

Agreed. I think the full body of the emails should be released. What republicans want is the full truth on what happened. Why would anyone object?

Deflect deflect deflect...

I'm all for releasing the documents. Put it all out there in the public, but that isn't what this hearing is about.

Get to it and fricking vote.

About as much as the Republicans using the forum to express their displeasure over Ms. Lerner's attitude toward the Tea Party.

This hearing is about holding Lerner in contempt. What you're talking about has nothing to do with that.

This is backfiring big time on Darrell Issa, and I'm loving it.

There is no doubt that the Republican majority on this circus will vote to hold Ms. Lerner in contempt... that, too, will be a big backfire.

This could end favorably for Lerner and miserably for the GOP grandstanders

This is laughable on both sides of the aisle

Repubs = Complain about transparency, but don't want to grant it in regards to all of these documents.

Dems = Don't want transparency, but want it in regards to this particular issue.
