You have a dualistic view of religion and it's not like that.
What I mean is you see God and Satan as equal warring factions, Good vs. Evil.
The war has been fought and won already. Sin has been defeated on Mt Calvary.
Satan will be looked upon by everyone in the afterlife. Everyone will wonder "is THIS what the big fuss was about?"
