I've been keeping an eye on her, and so far she doesn't seem to be interested in it.

Nah, they won't eat that. It is water soluble though so you can water it in. Or mix some with water then drench mounds.
EDIT: I know the label says not to water in but I've found it to work just as well when it's rained the same day I've applied it.
