for reference, my HS team went winless my senior year we had 3 8th graders as starters because everyone hated our coach, so all the most of the upperclassmen quit

our girls team went to the state semifinals

we played them in practice one time and we absolutely destroyed them. my coach actually got pissed at me and benched me because I refused to play defense hard. I could have blocked every one of their shots.
