We're talking about 5 standard bedroom windows. I'm unsure if both the top and bottom panes in each window are affected so we could be talking about a total of 10 sashes, Stout.

Also, the 4' X 4' master bath window over the tub is fogged. That's approx a $500 window.

Edit to add: going to the house tomorrow to see exactly how many windows we're talking about here.

If they signed an "As-Is" clause then tell them to take it or leave it. If not then just give them a small allowance to use to remedy it themselves. Chances are they will take the allowance and never repair it.

Probably first time buyers and think that they have to have everything an inspector finds repaired. Little do they know that most of those independent inspectors aren't worth hiring for free much less $400.
