I've seen some remedies while "googling" that includes drilling holes in the glass. Usually performed by a company that offers that service and was about $100 per window.

Would rather not drill holes into the glass.

I'm of the opinion that we've come down off the price enough and I'm also going to repair a few other small items that their inspection report found and they should be happy with that.
