I have a few worries about Harris being the starter and I think he'd be better off with limited snaps in blowouts to get him ready for next year:

1. He is very thin. Could really use 30-40 lbs of muscle at least. And with the way he moves around in the pocket, he might get broken in half by some SEC DL or LB.

2. He doesn't have the offensive rhythm down IMO. Sure he can make plays outside the pocket and has good pocket awareness, but to sustain drives thats not really what we need. We need a methodical game manager with our defense, OL, and running game.

3. Youth. Even Manziel and Winston redshirted a year and learned the system. Harris doesn't have the knowledge of the offense, and no one can expect him to. He also stares down receivers and misses some check downs.

I know AJ didn't play great, but I think he knows the offense better, has better chemistry with the offense (for good reason) and should be our starter until he becomes a liability. We shouldn't judge him on Iowa. We should judge him on Wisconsin.

ETA:

and I will add it is clear Harris has some freakish talent, but the kid should still technically be in HS. Rushing along kids too soon can really hurt them in the long run.

Also, I was upset Rettig didn't get more opportunities. Not that I think he's better than the other two, but I would like to see it for myself. He clearly has the arm strength, size, and pedigree.

Miles/Cam will have the best QB playing. Whether that's Jennings, Harris or Rettig.

But at this point Harris looks the part and Jennings looks lost..
