I took my 10 year old son and his friend to see it in IMAX when it first came out. I thought it was pretty bad arse as a 3D IMAX movie, but honestly, I don't know if I would enjoy it much at home as a "regular" movie.

I agree. I saw it at home and it was meh. But I could see how it would be more impressive in IMAX
