I think the front office is a little concerned about Vacarro's durability. Bailey comes in to fill in that Safety spot if there are issues there and he will also be used at multiple spots as Ryan continues to experiment with this D to confuse the opposition. Bailey's football IQ and experience will work well with this Ryan D. I feel like Ryan Clark would have been the same kind of acquisition and wonder why or if he wasn't given a good look as well. Maybe since they went with Bailey that the FO felt depth at the #2 spot was more of a concern.

He as been average at best the last few years in Denver. Don't get me wrong, I like champ, but he should have retired this year.
