Guys, I haven't taken the time to read the law, however Mike Strain is the head of the department of forestry and agriculture. He told me verbatim one of the laws he got passed was prohibiting live transportation of feral hogs.

I like the idea of worming them fattening them up and butchering them as the OP states. However he said too many people releasing them elsewhere was the problem so it's all outlawed now.

I did find something (not sure how valid the source is) about only limited during WMA seasons.
