Normal six days rest my arse. If that's the case, then Nola can't go the following SEC Friday. If he's going to stick to that, then Nola is Saturday from here on out. He clearly has other reasons.
not really but i'm sure they will wait to move him back to Friday after not throwing as many pitches.

Doesnt really make sense to me. He has a better chance of rain not affecting his start on friday than on saturday, which id be more worried about than the 5 or 6 days of rest.

His reasoning doesn't make sense because he's doing to Poche what he says he's trying to avoid with Nola. Poche is younger and has only started 15 games/season in high school going a max of seven innings in each. He's being asked to do much more this year and will be expected to be at his best/strongest at the very end. REALLY?

What if he throws the same amount this week?

I guess he'll be going on 5 days rest for Arky and Ole Miss now.

Whats the odds nola csn keep it under 100 pitches and not get interrupted by the weather on saturday? Id say 25% ish. Which means we didnt use him as well as we could have or he will be in the same predicament next week.

We're gonna be stuck with Domangue starting a nationally televised SEC game.

I feel like tomorrow when PM wakes up he will re-rethink this move and throw NOla tomorrow night. Think he and cohen are playing mind games. And with the potential weather, friday for nola makes more sense

We can only hope. Ill tell you this much, we aren't playing baseball Sunday unless the forecast changes drastically.

Maybe he wanted Nola on 5 days rest on back to back weeks(ark and ole miss).
I dont really know but I've thought about it from every angle and it doesnt make sense.
