effort when all it takes is a timely call or two
this is where we have a fundamental disagreement. I don't buy into one call in one game can change a series. I don't mean that for just the ones that we benefit, but also when we are on the shite end of the stick. like 2008. boston got so many calls in game 2 it was ridiculous. they also got a good number of calls in game 1. but im in no way blaming our loss on those 2 games. we blew a 20 pt lead at home. just like I don't blame that call against us and the sips as the reason we lost. yea, the call was at the pivotal moment, but we should have never been in that situation. I acknowledge that we have been beneficiary of calls more so than others and I see how it can be established that those calls help us win. but I will never agree to the notion that those calls are why we win playoff series. just like I would never agree with the notion that we (a&m or anyone) lose a game or a series because of a bad call

like 2008

Allow me to say this about 2008: of all your Finals opponents, that one mattered the least in terms of officiating (and the same goes for your redux with them). The league was pleased as punch just to have their iconic rivalry in the Finals again, and as much as Stern can say "lakers vs. lakers," you know good and well he didn't give a shite who actually won, so any grievances you have with the officiating in those series' with Boston, you can take up with a Celtics fan (Patton, get your gump arse in here! ).
