Wow so you are basically saying Ted Cruz was right

His "brilliant move" would have required Obama to sign-off on repealing Obama-care. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

The realistic way is to win elecitons, gain majorities in the House and Senate and take the presidency - then overturn it and "replace" it with one of the many thorough and well thought-out (lulz) alternatives proposed by the GOP over the last few years.

Cruz is just a side-show for your entertainment. That shtick was just so you'll vote for him in 2016.

Only because enough public pressure hasn't been mounted. He new the establishment republicans weren't backing Cruz so no it wasn't going to happen as long as that was the case.

But if republicans had thrown their full weight behind the effort and bothered to educate the public then enough pressure could have been mounted. And at that point if Obama still refused to to sign the repeal bill then that is when you move forward with impeachment.

As long as there is public support for repeal it can be done but you have to go out there and let the public know you're serious about it. The republican establishment sent the message that they were against repeal/defund and well here we are.

Actually, I oppose that as well. frick "Repeal and Replace". It should be just "repeal". If anything, healthcare should be opened up more to the private sector and allow insurers to sell across state lines.

When will you morons understand that we do not have the demographics, tax bases and lifestyles needed to maintain any gov't subsidized and managed healthcare system in an efficient way and with no gov't abuse coming from it that will not put us under crushing debt?
