Fwiw, all of the water in Louisiana is harmful. Hasn't killed anyone yet
I haven't ever caught anything there. Seen a bunch of snakes, and that's it. There are a bunch of old cypress stumps IIRC. Best thing to do is ride around looking at bouncing bewbs. Fishing pole is a good cover story

From what I hear there is a ditch somewhere in the middle that is 5-6 feet deep the rest of the lakes are 2-3. I have fished there 2-3 times and only had one bite so I don't bother going back.
