You tell me? Seems like if it is a weed the seed wouldn't be $90 for 50 lbs but who knows nowadays.

Just read a little on the NWTF sight. They're are essentially the same thing but the non-native variety doesn't grow as aggressively. I know native nutsedge is a problematic weed and highly prolific because of those little tubers that the other chufa is being sold for.
