doesn't matter if over/in ear.

i have a tendency to tear them up, no matter the quality of construction. i do not want to go wireless because i am afraid of change.

thanks

Sennheisers always break on me. So I guess don't buy Sennheiser.

Sony MDR-7506

Radio DJs -- at least back when radio used to have DJs -- use 'em. Ask anyone in radio: DJs can tear up most anything handed to them.

Plus they're plenty loud. The headphones, that is.

I have seen them at Fry's for <$100.

Still breaking them in, but they are pretty high quality from what I can tell.

Shure SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones

Kind of wishing I had gotten noise cancelling though, since I travel quite a bit. But so far so good.
