I skimmed the article, but I didn't see where the author correlated this "decline" of the AA family with other negative statistics of consequence.
For example, are more AA kids dropping out of school because of this? A quick google search tells me the opposite has happened.
Or has the number of crimes commited by AAs increased? Because overall crime in this country has been steadily decreasing since the late 80s and early 90s.
Also, I'm guessing the "family" in general is declining in this country, not just among AAs.

I am not going to give my opinion on this thread other than to say I haven't seen anyone point out the real reason for the decline. Its nothing racist but I am avoiding these threads so ill let you guys come up with it on your own.
