Well for me, it's not so much directly related to LSU baseball as it is college baseball. Of course what we directly or indirectly observe with our team certainly drives the point home. But, across the board, the numbers will bear out that they have fundamentally changed the game.
I listened nightly to Milo Hamilton from the age of 7 in a '73 Ford truck b/c it was the only radio I could get KLVI out of Beaumont to hear the Astros. I never missed a home game at LSU in 4 years there. I spend parts of each day in a batting cage in my backyard or at a ballpark from November-August.
I'm not driving to Baton Rouge for a college baseball game, and I have access to tickets on the dugout. It is what it is. Way too much local high school ball that is more entertaining.
